Job Description
The Travel Coordinator is responsible for the company’s travel needs. Duties include hotel, car rental, limo and flight arrangements.
Principle Responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating all company international & domestic travel
Assess traveler needs and make the best possible travel arrangements for company business while ensuring company travel policies are followed.
Ensures travel needs are meet within the constraints of the travel budget
Set up and maintain traveler profiles to ensure accuracy.
Track airline flight credits to ensure they are used for future travel.
Work with company travel agency
Administer leased vehicles
Assist HR Department with various projects
Ability to manage crises with unforeseen situations such as flight cancellations, airline strike, etc.
Ability to work in fast environment with interruptions, deadlines and changes.
Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions
Other job duties and special projects as requested
Qualifications
Experience required in acquiring documentation such as passports, visas, or other clearances needed for travel
3+ years of related experience
High School or equivalent
Geographical knowledge
Microsoft Office proficient
Ability to act independently and autonomously
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Highly personable
Excellent communication and customer service skills (written and verbal)
