Job Summary

MAT is seeking a SALES COORDINATOR to support our sales team and increase overall productivity within the division. You will work with the National Sales Manager in the development and creation of line review / presentations and product quotations. Publish and Manage the annual line review calendar. Maintain an organized promotional calendar for national and.COM accounts.  

Principle Responsibilities

 

  • Assists National Sales Manager in communicating with and managing the MAT national rep network.
  • Process and track requests for product samples and images working with Product Managers.
  • Assist Customer Service in resolving order fulfillment issues by working with the Sourcing Group and the customer.
  • Manage customer promotional allowances, rebates and pricing programs.
  • Coordinate customer and national trade shows. This will include registration, booth fixtures and samples, show paperwork and show specials where appropriate.
  • Assist National Sales Manager and reps at trade shows when required to setup / tear down and manning the booth as a Sales Representative of MAT when necessary.
  • Work with marketing to promote new products through video and photography to include assisting customers to have these marketing pieces to websites / catalogs.
  • Manage new customer process, providing appropriate documentation, pricing and item setup information to include MA generation and Pricing submittal process.
  • Works with National Sales Manager to ensure forecasts accurately reflect sales estimates by customer. Forecasts are maintained monthly ans should be include inventory and sales by customer.
  • Run reports for sales and marketing to include inventory, sales and purchasing by customer.
  • Timely reporting of customer interaction during the sales process through salesforce or appropriate CRM software. Follow up tracking and reporting of this process in appropriate CRM will be updated weekly or as needed. This function will also be the Sales Coordinators responsibility.
  • Continual improvement in product knowledge through hands on training as directed by managers, Sales Coordinator will also be responsible for training customer service and outside sales reps on product knowledge as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects
  • A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to take initiative, to work independently of day-to-day supervision

  • Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0 – 2 years’ work experience with consumer product companies servicing major US retailers (Home Depot, Wal-Mart, etc.)
