Job Description

We are releasing the first version of the Makezu app and are looking for a Growth Hacker/Digital Marketing Intern to generate engaging and relevant content on the app to reach and engage customers.

We are looking for an ambitious, creative and entrepreneurial individual to join us to support many different areas of our business for an initial six-month period, with an opportunity as we raise capital to become a permanent part of the team. The particular focus of the role is on growth. This is a unique chance to work with a dynamic team and dig into what it really takes to build a business that will scale.

We’ll need someone who isn’t afraid to jump right in and support us wherever needed: a fast learner with a proactive growth mindset who will thrive in an environment of changing priorities and high momentum. As this is an entry-level position, you will work closely with the founder who will guide you and work alongside leaders in the startup community as we have just joined the award-winning accelerator, Founders Factory.

It is ideal for anyone data-driven, creative, curious and ready to help us build a product and community through innovative marketing.

This is a paid internship.

Some of your responsibilities would be:

  • Design innovative growth hacks to identify the right social channels and convert them efficiently, you know #Zapier, #airtable #slack ...
  • Create content to engage and attract new users (social networks, emailing campaigns)
  • Report directly to the Founder/CEO and work closely with the rest of the team
  • Design mid-term growth strategy

Qualifications

  • Creative and regularly coming up with new ideas
  • Data-driven decision maker and have a clear understanding of metrics, funnels and churn rate
  • Curious, Self-learner with proven ability to learn things on the fly
  • You do what it takes to get stuff done
  • You love challenges and solving problems
  • Comfortable diving into and organizing data
  • Obsessed with writing terrific content that speaks vividly to the target audience

It would be amazing if you had:

  • Experience working with A / B testing and other analysis tools like GA
  • Experience in prioritizing, optimizing growth channels, scaling and automating the growth process
  • Excellent insight into SaaS and user behavior.
