• As an Engineer, your main goal responsibility is to make our vision a reality by developing modern data privacy focused infrastructures and applications following specified software development and methodology. 
• In close collaboration with our CTO Fabian, you will go through all the developing stages such as designing, coding, testing and documenting to meet our agreed business specifications. 
• You will build clean REST APIs for internal use as well as external customers to make our services available and support our stakeholders in the integration process.
• You will build and manage microservices using Spring Boot and other modern Java Enterprise technologies and take ownership of these during the whole lifecycle from development to deployment and monitoring. 
• We love data and so should you, therefore you will design and develop SQL queries and PL/SQL stored procedures/functions/triggers to retrieve data and make the magic happen.

• You have a minimum of three years of Java engineering experience in a professional environment.
• You have excellent knowledge in relational databases and schema design. 
• You have worked with JAX-RS, JAX-WS, JSON, REST, WSDL and XML Schema and value clean code as well as OO principles and design patterns.
• You should have good knowledge of continuous integration with Maven and build servers, e.g. Bamboo and some experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• As we are an AGILE development team, you should know how to work in SPRINTs.
• As a start-up, our team always needs to stay open minded and learn new things and you should adapt to a doer mentality in a high paced environment and should be open to new technologies as well as programming languages.
