MACSEYE is seeking an experienced and passionate WHS Manager to lead workplace health, safety, wellbeing, and injury management initiatives across our growing network of early learning and outside school hours care services.
Reporting to the Director Quality, Safety, and Compliance, this strategic leadership role will drive the development of contemporary WHS systems, build organisational capability, and foster a positive culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Working across diverse sites and stakeholder groups, you will play a critical role in ensuring our people, environments, and practices support the wellbeing, safety, and success of children, staff, and communities.

Job Description
As our WHS Manager, you will lead the delivery of proactive safety, wellbeing, and injury management initiatives that support a safe, compliant, and high-performing workforce across our network.
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of WHS frameworks, policies, and programs across multiple sites
- Provide expert advice on workplace safety, risk management, incident investigations, and legislative compliance
- Drive safety culture through coaching, capability-building, consultation, and stakeholder engagement
- Analyse WHS data, trends, and performance metrics to identify risks and inform strategic improvements
- Partner with leaders to support injury management, return-to-work outcomes, staff wellbeing, and psychological safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Demonstrated WHS leadership experience within a multi-site or complex organisation, with a supporting relevant tertiary level WHS qualification
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management, incident investigation, and injury management
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and build safety capability across all levels of an organisation
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Collaborative and proactive approach, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and positive safety outcomes
- Ongoing full-time Australian work rights
