Role: Hadoop Administrator
Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad

Over all Experience (With Linux experience) 5 plus years.
Hadoop Administrator Experience - 1- 3 years.

Job Description:

• Day-to-day operation activities including, incidents, problem and change management.
• Day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting of jobs, problems and performance issues in Hadoop clusters.
• Linux administration and script automation.
• Ready for production 24* 7 support.
• MapR, MapR DB and HBase Administraiton.
• Investigate and characterize non-trivial performance issues in various Hadoop/mapr cluster environments.
  

• Linux Administration Skills
• Experience in designing, implementing and administering highly available Hadoop clusters
• Experience working with MapR vendor ecosystems
• Knowledge of capacity planning, management, and troubleshooting for HDFS, YARN/MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Oozie, MapR DB, Machine Learning and HBase
• Understanding of network concepts and experience managing host level network services
• Background with common automation tools. Stack-IQ, Puppet is plus.
• Background with a higher level scripting language, such as Perl, Python, Shell.
• Experience in middleware technologies Tomcat, Jboss, Kibana, ES, Redis is plus.
  

Basic Qualifications :-

• Education: BS Computer Science / B Tech Computers/BSE Computers / MS Computer Science / Masters Computer Application (MCA), BE Bachelor of Engineering.
• At least 5 Years of experience in IT Services / Consulting/ Technology / Software Development
