Job Description

Lytics is looking to hire a Product Documentation Writer with experience using technology to deliver Marketing tactics. You will be part of the Product Team, responsible for writing use cases and documentation that Lytics customers can connect with, helping Lytics customers understand the business problems that the platform solves within their new and existing marketing strategies.

 

You will also be assisting with product and technical documentation for new features, updating and maintaining existing documentation, writing FAQ’s and Help articles, and performing peer reviews of content.

 

By working closely with Product Managers and Product Engineers, you will quickly become a product expert using features regularly for documentation. You will deliver customer-facing documentation to both technical and non-technical audiences, and ensure that documentation maintains a consistent style and tone by following a style guide.  

Qualifications

What we need you to have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with 1 -2 years proven track record of writing product documentation and use cases for non-technical and technical audiences.

  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, and maintain customer-facing documentation

  • Marketing agency or MarTech industry experience.

  • Understanding of Marketing use cases and use case documentation.

  • Be a curious self-starter, with a amazing attention to detail in your own work and when reviewing others work

  • Experience in writing instructional documentation/user guides

  • Work directly in the product to help identify first-hand where users might experience difficulty

  • Ability to identify common functionality questions from our internal teams and users

  • Understanding of Agile software development practices.

  • Interest in writing integration and API documentation

  • Proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.

 

Nice to have (but not required)

  • Experience working with one or more content management tools, like Contentful.

  • Experience writing integration and API documentation.
