Job Description

Lytics is seeking a high-energy Curriculum Developer to join our fast-growing team in Portland, Oregon.  You will create the experiences which help our clients, partners, and employees to not just learn our technology but master a whole new way of thinking about their business.  

 

You will have primary responsibility to create, maintain, and evolve training programs and materials across a variety of touchpoints, including: On-demand video, eLearning, instructor-led, and hands-on lab activities.  Your work will directly impact the ability of global, enterprise marketers and technologists to leverage Lytics and achieve their business goals. In addition, you will create certification programs and guidelines to formalize the progression from novice to master when using our technology to revolutionize marketing practices.

 

The measure of your success will be the speed and depth of students achieving mastery with Lytics.  That being said, the focus of your day-to-day will be ensuring our clients, partners, and employees learn what they need to learn to most effectively do their jobs.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze strategic goals and current content to design effective training and certification programs for three constituents: Clients, partners, and employees

  • Partner with technical and marketing SMEs to turn their expertise into consumable materials

  • Use instructor and student feedback to develop instructor led training materials for classroom and virtual courses, including: Participant and leader guides, job aids, hands-on lab activities, and interactive presentation materials

  • Design and create engaging on-demand video and eLearning content

  • Maintain and curate content libraries to keep Lytics at the forefront resonating with clients and partners using engaging teaching techniques

  • Iterative delivery of high-quality training experiences

  • Stay up-to-date in product advancements and new releases by partnering with peers in both Marketing and Development

  • Transform content for the appropriate audience (Technical vs Business, Client vs Employee, Marketer vs Executive, etc)

Qualifications

  • High level of personal organization, personal accountability, and follow-through

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Versatile and adaptable in a complex and fast-paced market

  • Strong track record in instructional design and project management,

  • 5+ years of technical curriculum development experience

  • Experience in and understanding of SaaS enterprise architecture, data flows between disparate systems, and data sciences (machine learning / predictive modeling)

  • Experience with MS Office suite, authoring tools, LMS systems, and Agile content development

  • Broad knowledge of and experience in digital marketing and marketing strategy
