Job Description
Lytics is looking for a storyteller and content maestro to join the marketing team to shape our narrative and help reinvent how marketers tackle some of their greatest challenges that they face today. We are looking for an fearless individual who possesses a strong strategic vision and ability to execute. She/he will need to champion their vision by collaborating with and inspiring business partners and experts across the firm as well as the writers on their team.
The ideal candidate will have a credible and engaging personal presence appropriate for working collaboratively and will be able to successfully develop ideas in partnership with internal and external thought leaders. He/she will oversee a combination of individuals/agencies and therefore must be a strong manager and also highly organized in order to coordinate the large volume of projects by the Content Marketing team.
What You’ll Do
Strategy:
Develop short-term plans and long-term content marketing strategy, which will support prospect acquisition, client expansion and retention.
Lead the creation of targeted and differentiated buyer-centric narratives, strategic plans, and the corresponding content itself that brings those narratives and plans to live.
Cultivate and maintain rich dialogues with sophisticated internal and external subject matter experts to bring original, compelling thinking to market on behalf of the firm.
Partner closely with other members of the Marketing leadership team to establish the Content Strategy team as a subject matter expert in writing and editing.
Own the buyer’s journey across various channels and design the right experiences in partnership with the demand generation team.
Execution:
Build a small, scrappy and fast-moving team of full-time employees, contractors and agencies to help produce and scale content globally.
Build cross-functional relationships across the company, sharing progress with key stakeholders.
Build and publish an editorial calendar.
Oversee the content and experience delivery from the various web properties and social channels
Spot check and edit editorial team content as needed to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Roll up sleeves and independently develop and deliver content when needed.
Collaborate with the Creative team to define and map content creation needs.
Work with integrated marketing, social media, internal communications and public relations to ensure content is promoted and shared across all appropriate channels.
Identify opportunities to promote and amplify content outside of traditional channels to broaden reach and exposure.
Collaborate internally to prove the impact of content marketing touch-points along the purchasing funnel.
Monitor and report on content marketing metrics/insights and show continuous improvement of the content strategy based on analytics.
Qualifications
What Should You Have?

10+ years of experience in B2B content marketing. Marketing Technology experience is a huge plus.A strong content marketer with experience across a variety of medium and formats web, copy, email, whitepapers/reports, blog, infographics, video.
Someone who, when needed, can roll up their sleeves and get hands-on - either to mentor and coach or to independently deliver.
A collaborative, team player that is adept at building strong professional relationships.
Knowledgeable of how to scale content creation and distribution, build a loyal audience, optimize for SEO, and engage target audience members.
Someone with a deep understanding of various promotional platforms and what it takes to grow a brand’s presence.
An entrepreneurial spirit and an exceptional problem solver. Someone who is thoughtful, but with a bias towards action and won’t suffer from analysis paralysis.
Native-level English language speaker and writer.
