Job Description

We are now looking for a Flights Revenue Manager who will play a key role in maximising the profitability of our chartered flights. You’ll develop and implement best practice pricing and inventory strategies, using performance analysis and market insights to drive smart business decisions. With responsibility for managing committed allocations and ensuring the success of chartered flight opportunities, you’ll also contribute to wider commercial and Revenue Management objectives across the business.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies for pre-purchased charter flights
  • Optimise profitability of charters through managing allocations for committed inventory, packaged with accommodation and tour components
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer segment aligned with chartered flights and packages
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across Commercial, Product and Marketing to deliver charter products that have industry leading value, merchandising, customer experience and promotional strategies
  • Monitor, analyse, implement and report on internal and external market Flight trends to drive superior business decisions
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify and action opportunities to grow flight sales through other product verticals, including accommodation, tours and cruises
  • Track performance for various override agreements to drive product promotion decisions

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies for consumer products, preferably in the airline industry, but tours or hotels revenue management experience will be highly regarded
  • Highly analytical, comfortable working with complex datasets from a variety of data sources
  • Strong Excel and data visualisation skills, converting complex datasets into actionable decisions
  • Results orientated with a proven track record delivering against revenue and business objectives
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships in complex organisational structures
  • Ability to clearly articulate pricing strategies to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong drive for process efficiency, continuous improvement and team based results
  • Economics, accounting or technical qualification preferred
