Job Description

This is position is part time morning hours of 6am to 2pm or hiring for part time evening hours 4pm to 730pm.  The Dietary Aide is responsible for assistance in preparing and serving meals throughout Lutheran Homes. The Dietary Aide is responsible for performing various duties in and around the kitchen, including preparation of various portions of meals, presentation of food, and delivery of food. Dietary Aides will also be responsible for delivering and collecting food trays in and around residents’ rooms. The Dietary Aide is responsible for cleaning his or her work area.

Qualifications

· Age 16 minimum

· Be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English

· Be able to work holidays, weekends, and all shifts as scheduled

· An interest in working with the elderly and handicapped

· A clean and neat appearance
