LONG TERM CONTRACT

We are seeking an experienced Cerner Nurse Workflow Consultant to support our healthcare organization’s clinical system optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of Cerner Millennium, with hands-on expertise in iView and PowerChart, to streamline nursing documentation and clinical workflows.

This role will partner closely with nursing leadership, clinical informatics, and IT teams to evaluate current processes, design best practice workflows, and implement system enhancements that improve clinician efficiency and patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workflow assessments to identify gaps and opportunities within nursing documentation and charting processes.

• Design, build, and configure Cerner iView for nursing documentation, flowsheets, and clinical data capture.

• Optimize PowerChart workflows for nurses, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with nursing staff to gather requirements, provide demonstrations, and validate build changes.

• Support testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Cerner functionality.

• Provide training and go-live support for end users, ensuring adoption of new workflows.

• Develop documentation, job aids, and knowledge transfer materials.

• Partner with clinical leadership to ensure compliance with Meaningful Use, CMS, and Joint Commission standards.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Cerner clinical systems experience, with specific expertise in iView and PowerChart.

• Strong understanding of nursing workflows, documentation, and clinical best practices.

• Experience conducting workflow analysis, system configuration, and end-user support.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to work with clinical and technical teams.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex workflow/system issues and provide practical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• RN license or strong background in nursing informatics.

• Experience with Cerner Care Plans, Orders, and Clinical Decision Support.

• Prior involvement in Cerner upgrade projects or new module implementations.

• Familiarity with other Cerner modules such as FirstNet, MPages, or SurgiNet.

• Cerner certification(s) in iView or related areas.

Long Term Contract Top Rate.
