Job Description
Overview:
- Apply professional stage and on-camera makeup for presenters to ensure a polished, camera-ready appearance.
- Provide makeup services during two daily sessions:
- Morning session (2 hours)
- Afternoon session (2 hours)
- Perform regular touch-ups to maintain a consistent look throughout filming or live presentations.
- Assess lighting conditions, skin tones, and production requirements to tailor makeup application accordingly.
- Maintain strict hygiene standards by cleaning and sanitizing all brushes, tools, and workstations before and after each session.
- Monitor and manage makeup inventory, ensuring all necessary products and tools are stocked and readily available.
- Ensure continuity and quality control of makeup looks across sessions.
- Work closely with production teams, stylists, and presenters to meet visual requirements.
- Train presenters and/or staff on basic makeup application techniques for self-preparation when needed.
- Stay updated on current makeup trends, products, and techniques relevant to on-camera work.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a professional make-up artist, preferably with experience in television, film, or live broadcasting settings.
Proficiency in a wide range of makeup application techniques, including natural, glam, and editorial looks, suitable for high-definition cameras.
Strong understanding of makeup products, tools, and techniques, with a focus on achieving long-lasting and camera-ready makeup looks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with presenters and production team members.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, ensuring makeup looks meet the standards of professionalism and visual appeal required for on-camera appearances.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and accommodate changing priorities and scheduling demands.
Working Conditions
- This role is based onsite and will require shift work, including weekends and public holidays, in line with operational requirements.
- Flexible Mornings and Late Nights as operational requirements
