Job Description

Our Retention Specialist plays a vital role in the marketing department. You will be responsible for scheduling and executing our direct marketing campaigns, including targeted email and SMS advertising, digital engagement content, promotions, and mobile-app messaging. You will also assist with managing content and its placement. 

Here is what you will be doing:

  • Assist with driving the direct marketing strategy across SMS, email, and other digital marketing platforms 
  • Set up, test, execute, and report on marketing campaigns and promotions across various platforms.
  • Configure and distribute landing pages
  • Brief in designers and copywriters timeously and review their work
  • Manage timelines and schedules for external communications  
  • Research, evaluate, segment, and pull list selections for targeted and mass mailings from the gaming system
  • Conduct competitor analysis of direct marketing campaigns 
  • Update content on client facing websites via back-office tools
  • Configuration and testing of promotions and campaigns
  • Managing the ongoing relationship with our existing advertising partners.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of affiliates and campaigns, offering guidance and strategies to maximize revenue and performance.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for affiliates, providing them with promotional materials, updates, and support.
  • Track and report on affiliate performance
  • Manage affiliate commission structures, bonuses, and incentives

Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12 
  • Prior experience in iGaming/casino industry
  • 3+ years in a technical marketing position 
  • Excellent communication and writing skills 
  • Great organizational skills  
  • Proven track record of success working both independently and within teams 
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Experience with bulk mailing programs (Everlytics, Sendgrid, Mailchimp, etc) 
  • Basic HTML skills
