Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Support Agent to join our team in Cape Town, South Africa. As a vital member of our customer service department, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional support and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, escalating complex problems when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in our customer service software
  • Identify and communicate common customer concerns to the appropriate departments
  • Collaborate with team members to improve customer service processes and procedures
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information
  • Assist in creating and maintaining customer support documentation
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance customer service skills

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and empathy
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in customer service software and basic computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Patient and composed demeanor, even in challenging customer interactions
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
