Job Description
The Role:
As the Head of Marketing for LulaBet, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of a new betting brands launch into the highly competitive and dynamic Pan-African landscape. Your ability to translate the brand vision into a comprehensive TTL strategy will be key to our success. This role is for a talented and empathetic leader who knows how to get the best out of a small, specialized team of marketers of a hyper scaling business.
Here is what you will be doing (the important stuff)
- Design a TTL Sports Betting Marketing Strategy aligned to stakeholder expectations and business targets
- Creation and operation of an omni-channel social media presence
- Design and implement best in class retention practices through the life cycle including promotions, offers, communications and Customer Service
- Map and develop all acquisition and retention funnels utilizing detailed customer journeys
- Ensure all content is optimized for organic reach
- Manage the end-to-end content creation and deployment cycle across all channels
- Analyze and optimize the CX/UX based on data and feedback insights
- Maintain a clear view of product performance and placement, suggest optimization as required
- Manage and attribute the marketing budget across all channels and report on results
- Manage a best-in-class partner program and actively develop and grow the partner network
- Manage all internal and Agency SEO activities
- Develop the paid media strategy and manage its Agency implementation and performance
- Continuously analyze key data against KPIs - industry trends, ATL performance, player data, product performance, service levels, life cycle campaigns and optimize the marketing strategy as required
- Launch a best-in-class VIP program and manage VIP host performance against targets and KPIs
- Lead and grow the marketing team
- Dealing with the Western Cape Gambling Board on all approval processes
Qualifications
The essentials:
- Bachelors’ Degree in a relatable field
- 5 years' experience in a Senior Marketing role, preferably in iGaming
- Knowledge and experience in Digital marketing
- Sound management, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to prepare, understand and analyze business strategies, financial statements and business plans
- High level of numeracy and data skills
- Able to work independently and self-direct
- Passion for Sports
- Knowledge and experience in applicable Gaming, POPI, FIC legislation
- Experience in affiliate marketing and partner programs
- Prior experience in e-commerce
