Job Description

The marketing & office coordinator will support an executive management & marketing team located in Duluth, GA. This role will work closely with executives and other key team members in our Atlanta and Birmingham, AL offices to achieve sales and marketing strategies, plus light office management duties.

Responsibilities include:

Event and office coordination

  • Coordinate details of events and visits including client visits, presentations and team events, workshops and webinars (budgets, invitations, etc.)
  • Manage and oversee event details such as catering, transportation, location, invitee list, booth equipment and promotional material
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Basic executive support as needed including travel management, expense reporting, etc.

Marketing Material and Design

  • Assist with sales presentations by gathering relevant resources including proposals, slide decks, videos, quotations, and other information as requested
  • Design and create marketing materials such as brochures and case studies by writing copy and formatting content and graphics
  • Coordination with resources as needed
  • Social media content creation as needed

Project Management and Communication

  • Track existing marketing initiatives and generate timely reports
  • Ensure marketing projects are delivered as scheduled and within budget to best possible quality standards
  • Prepare, monitor and circulate marketing project timelines, consistently connecting and informing key team members

Requests for Information (RFIs)

  • Responsible for editing and finalizing RFIs and proposals from time to time
  • Collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts in other departments to complete and submit RFIs
  • Ensure deadlines are met, communicating progress to key stakeholders within the company

Other

  • Be available as a resource for senior marketing professionals who need assistance with completing large projects
  • Maintenance of department files
  • Review research reports and analyze data to uncover industry trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or public relations preferred
  • Previous experience in sales and marketing preferred
  • Proficient in the use of computers, particularly marketing technology applications and platforms
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word). 1 year experience preferred
  • Experience with telecommunication systems such as Zoom, Skype, WebEx or GoToMeeting
  • Ability to focus in a high energy environment with shifting priorities
  • Efficiently multitask on multiple projects and shift focus for multiple project owners and styles
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
