Job Description
Working as Game DevOps Engineer at Lucid Dreams, especifically at our NFT Game project "Toyo", you'll join a team of passionate gamers which are developing a ground-breaking project. Toyo is a Blockchain Play To Earn Game and we're looking for a DevOps Engineer with previous gaming experience.
As a Game DevOps Engineer, you will work together with the Tech Team, in the Infrastructure/Security/QA department, and will be part of the group of persons that are responsible for developing, staging and deploying the game and it's services.
Main responsibilities:
- Design and develop platform architectures along with the Infrastructure team
- Update, improve and ensure stability of CI Systems
- Improve and maintain software development lifecycle processes builds and their corresponding configurations for all the required platforms
- Work to improve platform scalability and security
- Design cloud architectures and pipelines to run systems without downtime, with the capability of auto-scaling and replication
- Design and implement a system to monitor and provide alerts on the platforms
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with developers
Qualifications
- Strong initiative and ability to work proactively, self-managed person and responsible adult. Also interpersonal and soft skills are required.
- The candidate must be apt to team work collaboratively with a multi-continental team which is located in different time-zones.
- Experience of at least 2 years with any back-end language
- Proficiency in Linux and shell scripting
- Knowledge of VCS (Version Control System)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience of at least 2 years with DevOps in gaming industry
