Job Description

The IT Coordinator’s main responsibility is to ensure that the office is technically running smoothly and optimally so that all team members can function properly in each of their respective areas of business. We are looking for a fantastic IT enthusiast/super nerd. You are the first line of technical support.

* Please note, while you will be working in a creative environment, this is NOT a creative position, nor will it lead in that direction. Editorial, film, and/or production experience is not relevant.

KEY DUTIES

• Troubleshoot Hardware / Software / Technology / Networking Problems

• Troubleshoot & maintain server & creative workstations (Mac and PC).  

• Render Management & Troubleshooting

• Create & maintain user accounts (computer, email, Slack, FTP, VPN)

• Responsible for computer inventory 

• Day-to-Day upkeep (workstation order, software & hardware updates, printers)

• Help Animators / Editors / Designers / Producers / Coordinators (as needed)

Additional duties: Minimal maintenance of our site using WordPress making layout and content edits as needed. 


Qualifications

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in OS X, experience troubleshooting Apple computers.

• Must be able to work both independently as well as in tandem with tech staff.

• Maintain a strong work ethic and sense of ownership of all things technical in this office

• Follow Up and Follow Through on all tasks and asks

• Have a strong attention to detail

• Confidence in work product and overall positive attitude

• Excellent time-management skills

• Good interpersonal relations skills, especially in being a good listener

• Skills in written and oral communications

• Good telephone and email communication etiquette

• Dedication to lifelong learning, overall intelligence and perseverance

• General Budgeting and other fiscal skills as they relate to job responsibilities and communicating necessary spends.

• General to proficient understanding of broadcasting, editorial, motion graphics, photography, production and streaming technologies

• Working knowledge of: WordPress, HTML, CSS
