Job Description

Behavior Interventionists (BI) implement behavior programs designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. This work takes place in the home, school, or clinic. There are layers of support embedded in the company to ensure that both our clients and our staff realize their potential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in early childhood education, psychology, nursing or related field, plus one (1) year of related experience with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities OR currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with preference to programs related to early childhood education, psychology, nursing or related field, plus (2) years related experience with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities
  • Demonstrate good judgement, decision making, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a team environment and comfortable working independently
  • Energetic and positive attitude
  • Passion to help children succeed
  • Full Immunization Record, which includes 2 TB Tests
  • CPR (Basic Life Support Specific)
  • Valid California Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
  • Spanish or Vietnamese a plus!

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This position is part-time.Standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

 

Travel:

This position consists of being in the field. Frequent travel in assigned region to client to client, client to office and office to client.
