Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Cotton Purchasing Admin Coordinator to join our Cotton team.
This role is responsible for providing administrative support to our Origination and Trading teams, while delivering excellent service to growers and liaising closely with gins, classers, and internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Domestic Trade Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate processing of cotton purchase contracts, bale data, payments, and reporting activities.
This is a 2 year max fixed term contract

Key responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Maintain accurate cotton purchase, bale, contract and delivery records.
- Provide administrative support to the Cotton Origination and Trading teams.
- Process contract documentation, amendments, invoices and reporting requirements.
- Liaise with growers, gins, classers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Support contract administration, payment processing and daily purchasing activities.
- Assist with system maintenance, issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all data is entered accurately and in accordance with company processes and contractual requirements.
Desired skills and experience:
- Previous experience within the cotton industry, with an understanding of cotton purchasing and administration processes.
- Demonstrated experience in a high-volume administrative or coordination role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Sound understanding of gin and valley delivery points.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexible, proactive, and solutions-focused approach to work.
- Comfortable learning and navigating industry-specific systems.
- Basic understanding of data files, including CSV and text-based formats.
Qualifications
Education & Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification and/or equivalent cotton industry experience.
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
