The Louis Dreyfus Company Internship Program 2026 is a six-month program that provides students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commodity trading industry. The program is designed to equip interns with foundational knowledge and professional skills in one of the company’s business platforms.
We are seeking a motivated and analytical intern to assist in developing a Prices Dashboard and back-end computations for a sugar commodities platform using Dash Enterprise. This internship provides hands-on experience in building data-driven tools for commodity trading, including pricing calculations, arbitrage models, and market analytics.

Job Description
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role based in Petaling Jaya. The Senior Record to Report Analyst role is part of the Shared Business Services, Finance team, and will act as an operational subject matter expert for accounting processes (payables, receivables, general accounting) support successful SAP S/4 transition – which includes data migration, user acceptance testing, and post go-live stabilisation. This role offers the opportunity to develop skills related to LDC’s core financial business processes. It combines strong accounting expertise (40%), SAP S/4HANA project experience (40%), and stakeholder/change management capabilities (20%).
The role reports to the SBS Finance Operational Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting Operations
- Manage general ledger accounting, accruals, journals, provisions, reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and company accounting policies
- Analyze financial transactions and identify risks and variances
Support Transition Project Management
- Master data and transactional data cleansing activities
- Validate chart of accounts mapping and financial data conversion/reconciliation (data quality and completeness)
- Support in deployment activities and training – alignment between business processes and SAP best practices
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Support hypercare and stabilization activities after SAP go-live; including recommendation of process enhancements and automation opportunities
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience:
- 5-8 years of General Accounting / R2R experience.
- Experience working in Shared Services (SBS/GBS/BPO) environment.
- Hands-on involvement in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation projects.
- Experience in testing, process mapping, and financial controls.
- Exposure to project implementation methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional qualification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA, ICAEW)
