Job Description
We are looking for a Domestic Logistics Specialist to join our Logistics team in Bucharest.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating domestic transportation activities, ensuring the smooth execution of logistics operations, and supporting commercial and execution teams across the business. You will work closely with transport providers, terminals, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule domestic transportation activities
- Manage relationships with transport providers, terminals and service suppliers
- Monitor transport execution and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Review transport contracts and ensure proper documentation is maintained
- Validate and process transport-related invoices
- Monitor logistics costs and support cost control activities
- Coordinate cargo accumulation and stock movements
- Support month-end closing activities and reporting
- Resolve operational issues and support continuous process improvement
- Collaborate closely with commercial, execution, controlling and accounting teams
- Lead and support the local logistics team
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain operations
- University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or a related field
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with various IT systems
- Fluent Romanian and English language skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Previous team leadership or coordination experience is an advantage
