Job Description

Context of the role:
 

The Illertissen facility will continue its legacy of innovation in food and health ingredients, drive new advancements and deliver high-quality products to meet evolving consumer demand and contribute to LDC's sector growth strategies. 

 

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Finance taskforce in Illertissen, reporting to our Global FP&A Food & Feed Solutions manager. This role will be key in bridging Group requirements to local capabilities, with the aim of enhancing our Food and Health Ingredient financial organization by assessing, analyzing, understanding, explaining, and forecasting business performance. As a pivot between Global and local, this role will also serve projects, answer local Management questions, at the boundaries of Finance, Strategy & Planning. 

 

The role involves supporting the local Finance team in various transversal topics, the local Management and operations in adhoc analysis and coordination with various teams in Germany and in regional headquarters 

 

This position offers the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and motivating environment. The individual will interact daily with various teams at different levels of seniority. 

 

This role is unique as it sits at the intersection of global and local finance as well as local Management, offering direct exposure to senior stakeholders across regions and functions. The successful candidate will contribute to further developing understanding of this newly integrated business.  

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Participate in regular data production and analysis for local, regional and global Management instances  

  • Participate in project that aims at optimizing the business: maintain and enhance the existing dashboards, suggesting improvements 

  • Creates a robust process for reporting and analyzing regularly the margins of the business. 

  • Support the FP&A teams in various analysis  

  • Assist the site management in various regular or ad hoc analyses 

  • Support the Finance local team on tasks related to the Budget/Business Plan process 

 

Scope is the Food and Health Ingredient Business Unit, part of the Food and Feed Solutions platform (FFS). 

 

Qualifications

Your profile:

 

Education 

• Top-class business or engineering school graduate 

• Master's degree in Finance 

• Strong appetite for financial analysis and corporate finance topics 

• Proficiency with excel modeling, power query and power BI, and powerpoint 

 

Experience

• Internships in corporate finance (audit, transaction services, financial department of a big Corporate) 

 

Knowledge /Technical & Functional skills 

  • Strong appetite for financial analysis and corporate finance topics 

  • Proficiency with excel modeling, PowerPoint, Power Bi. Knowledge of Python is a plus.  

  • Ability to quickly master Finance IT tools (Onestream, SAP…)  

 

Soft skills

Additional Information

Eligibility for VIE: 18-28 years old, European , driving licence and car

CDI Opportunities after VIE mission in Germany, France or Switzerland
