Job Description

The Senior HR Specialist, TA will be responsible for managing end-to-end Talent Acquisition and Onboarding activities, primarily supporting the Singapore and Malaysia portfolios. The role will also provide regional support to Thailand, the Philippines, and Australia when required, ensuring consistent and effective delivery of recruitment and onboarding services across the region.

The role partners closely with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and Local HR teams to ensure an efficient, high-quality and customer-focused recruitment experience. In addition to managing recruitment administration and onboarding activities, the role plays a key part in supporting process standardization, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the HR function.

Main Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

Deliver end-to-end Talent Acquisition services across the Singapore and Malaysia portfolio, with regional support to Thailand, the Philippines and Australia when required, including:

  • Job requisition creation and validation
  • Job posting and advertisement management
  • Candidate sourcing through approved recruitment channels
  • Candidate screening and shortlisting
  • Interview scheduling and coordination
  • Hiring manager communication and support
  • Candidate communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Offer preparation and approval coordination
  • Offer administration and candidate communication
  • Background screening and pre-employment coordination
  • Recruitment administration and documentation
  • Recruitment reporting
  • Candidate application closure and recruitment record maintenance
  • Ensure recruitment activities are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed service levels.

Operational excellence

Support the continuous improvement by:

  • Identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Supporting recruitment standardization initiatives
  • Reducing manual activities
  • Improving recruitment cycle times
  • Supporting implementation of automation initiatives
  • Sharing recruitment best practices across the Asia team

Process Documentation & Knowledge Management

Support the Australia Specialist, Talent Acquisition in maintaining the Recruitment process framework by:

  • Contributing to updates of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintaining work instructions and Knowledge Articles
  • Identifying documentation improvements based on operational experience
  • Supporting knowledge transfer and cross-training activities
  • Ensuring local Australian process variations are accurately documented where approved

Governance & Compliance

Support operational governance through:

  • Monitoring recruitment SLAs
  • Tracking recruitment KPIs
  • Supporting audit readiness
  • Ensuring compliance with approved recruitment processes
  • Escalating operational risks or non-standard recruitment cases as appropriate
  • Supporting workforce planning inputs through accurate recruitment data
  • Ensuring recruitment activities are objective, fair and aligned with LDC’s diversity and inclusion principles

Decision Making

Has authority to:

  • Prioritize recruitment activities across Malaysia and Singapore
  • Manage standard recruitment cases independently
  • Recommend recruitment process improvements
  • Recommend updates to local work instructions and Knowledge Articles
  • Escalate complex recruitment, offer or compliance matters
  • Support operational prioritization based on business hiring needs

Experience  

  • +5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Operations or HR Shared Services
  • Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment within a multinational environment
  • Experience coordinating interviews, offer management and onboarding activities
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and Workday Recruiting or comparable HCM platforms
  • Experience supporting Singapore and/or Malaysia recruitment is highly desirable
  • Experience within a Shared Services or Global Business Services environment is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple recruitment activities while maintaining excellent customer service and operational accuracy

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field, equivalent experience will also be considered
  • Professional recruitment certification or HR qualification considered an advantage

Languages

  • Fluent English (spoken and written) 
  •  Mandarin Speaker is an advantage
