Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company, its business model, and the coffee value chain, with a strong focus on the commercial side in Honduras.
- Manage assigned projects and tasks together with the Program Lead or mentor, ensuring continuous learning and active contribution to the team.
- Develop technical and strategic skills related to Origination, Marketing, Trading and International Markets.
- Analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and propose initiatives that generate value for the business.
- Participate in rotations designed to strengthen business acumen, interpersonal skills, and innovative thinking.
- Prepare and deliver a final report summarizing the knowledge acquired, the experience gained, and the results achieved throughout the program.
Rotation Experience
The selected candidate will report to the Senior Marketer and will have the opportunity to rotate through key areas such as Origination, Marketing, Back Office, Sustainability, Research, Trading, Controlling, Operations, Quality, and Execution.
During these rotations, the participant will:
- Visit local suppliers’ coffee farms, gaining first-hand exposure to the certification processes required by international buyers.
- Understand the end-to-end process of the coffee supply chain.
Qualifications
Requirements & Skills
- Recent graduates or final-year students in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Agronomy, Engineering, Agribusiness, Agricultural Marketing, or related fields.
- Advanced level of English.
- Approximately 1 year of experience is expected; internships or training experience in commercial, trading, or analytical roles are valued.
- Strong Excel skills: Power BI is a plus.
- Knowledge of programming (Python and/or R), data visualization tools, and Artificial Intelligence (desirable).
- Availability to travel and temporarily relocate within Honduras.
- Strong service orientation, attention to detail, and results-driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in multicultural environments, collaborative attitude, analytical thinking, flexibility, and an entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in a dynamic and highly competitive environment.
