Technical Service Engineer - Northeast Territory

This position requires a results driven and team oriented individual who can establish and maintain a technical liaison with customers regarding filling performance of empty capsules on all types of equipment with specific emphasis on high speed filling equipment. This position provides feedback to operations for improvement of product quality and service.

Essential Functions:

• To provide technical solutions to our customers utilizing the Lonza / Capsugel portfolio and technical encapsulation expertise.
• To provide feedback to capsule manufacturing facilities for improvements in product quality and service.
• Training customers on encapsulation best practices in capsule handling, filling machine setup, encapsulation troubleshooting & maintenance. Investigation and resolution of product quality complaints.
• Provide technical support to territory sales management.

Other Duties:

• Travel outside of assigned territory may be required.
• Keep current on all new manufacturing technology regarding filling performance and high speed machines.
• Accountable for maintaining positive relationships with customers & internal stakeholders as well as delivering value added services.

Qualifications Required:

• 2 year degree in Technical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 5 to 7 years general engineering/maintenanceexperience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical/troubleshootingskills.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships.

Desired:

• 5 to 7 years Capsule filling experience preferred.
• Experience working with Six Sigma tools and concepts preferred.
