Job Description

This temporary role will support the Platinum Underwriting Team Lead in a project to build out the automated underwriting system.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Work directly with the Team Lead to assist for various tasks within the project:
    • Upload documents into the automated underwriting system, retrieve the decision results, and provide all essential findings to the Team Lead.
  • Possesses the ability to work directly with multiple DE Underwriters, Underwriting Team Lead and Underwriting Manager

 

 

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional business environment
  • Demonstrate to be a self-starter with solid time management skills and has worked in a team environment previously
  • Above average oral and written communication skills, solid customer service, analytical skills, and an effective problem solver
  • Working knowledge of PC applications (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Receptive to direction/guidance and has the ability to maintain an organized approach to tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mortgage industry, operations and/or office experience
  • Previous experience with reverse mortgage program guidelines
  • Knowledge of various systems (Reverse Vision, Quantum Reverse, ICE)
  • Previous experience with automated decision tools used in Mortgage Banking

Additional Information

 

  • This is a temporary non - exempt role
  • Target pay is $25-30 per hour.
