Job Description

In a nutshell

Logic20/20 is seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist with a solid foundation in the nuts and bolts of HR service delivery. Our HR department is well respected across the organization and is recognized as an approachable, thoughtful, customer-centric team providing insight and guidance to colleagues at every level in the company.  This role provides an opportunity to drive and support the company’s long-term vision and impact the continued growth of a seven-time “Best Place to Work” consulting organization. The ideal candidate will support operational and business goals by providing a broad range of HR services in the functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, policy implementation, employment law, organizational development, benefits, safety and regulatory compliance and administration.

What you’ll be doing

  • Acts as a trusted advisor and coach to key stakeholders and leadership teams. Builds deep understanding and relationships
  • Promote an inclusive workplace by advising managers and supervisors on employee relations issues; including conflict resolution, performance improvement and related matters consistent with HR policy and practice
  • Acts as a mediator, counselor, and facilitator in helping to resolve employee relations and performance issues
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and conduct investigations
  • Facilitates Visa processing and management for assigned business practices, partnering with outside counsel
  • Facilitates annual performance cycle, talent reviews, succession and development planning ensuring follow-up programs are delivered
  • Identify, develop, facilitate development opportunities and training programs to ensure growth opportunities for our employees.
  • Coach and support leaders in the development of performance improvement plans; provide one-on-one support as needed
  • Interact daily with management and Logicians to ensure open line of communication is maintained in order to identify and address any issues, needs, and/or concerns as they arise
  • Oversee the leave management process, including FMLA, disability, and other forms of time-off requests. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to leaves of absence
  • Manage the employment life-cycle including ensuring that the on-boarding and exit process and administration across all practices are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Conduct new employee orientation for all new employees
  • Administer Logic’s benefits, including health and retirement plans, by conducting annual open enrollment activities, responding to employee questions, supporting enrollment and COBRA needs, and invoice reconciliation
  • Create employee correspondence such as; salary changes, promotion, employment verification, Visa letters as needed
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and make recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Complete various annual reports such as: EEO-1, ACA reporting, year-end W2, annual labor law posters, I-9’s, personnel folders etc.

Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of experience in human resources in employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary process, leaves of absence management, and immigration matters, preferably with a professional services environment
  • Subject matter expertise in various HR disciplines, compensation, systems, benefits, compliance, federal and state employment laws, leave-related legislation, including FMLA, and ADA to assist with requests
  • Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire trust and confidence and to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Must have high sense of urgency and attention to detail and be reliable, motivated, dedicated and committed
  • Exceptional judgement, problem solving and decision making abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle with discretion sensitive employee concerns
  • Experience with HRIS preferably Paylocity

Additional Information

Pay range for this role is $80,000 – $100,000 annually.
