Locus Robotics is a leader in the rapidly growing eCommerce order fulfillment optimization space. Our solution helps warehouse owners attain 2-3X efficiency improvement over cart-picking operations, by empowering pickers to work collaboratively with our robots. All this is accomplished while integrating with the operator’s Warehouse Management System, utilizing and optimizing existing facility infrastructure.

Are you looking to gain experience in growing an ESG program, complying for ESG frameworks and standards?  If so, Locus Robotics is looking for a college senior or graduate student intern to assist with its  ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) program.  This is an excellent opportunity for hands on experience with collecting and analyzing stakeholder input, ESG performance data, and voluntary disclosure reporting. 

For the ultimate learning experience, this role requires being onsite in our Wilmington, MA headquarters at least three days a week. (this could vary to be more or less). This position will start in January and end depending on your Co-Op cycle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with materiality assessments to include conducting surveys and interview polling with key stakeholders.
• Update existing LCA (Lifecycle Analysis) spreadsheets and applications.
• Perform data collection and analysis of Scope 1, 2, 3 GHG emissions.
• Assist with the implementation of new ESG software and deployment.
• Contribute to EMS documentation creation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or Graduate studies in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field. Open to Seniors & up to one year post graduation.
• Interested in the applying knowledge of all elements of the “E” pillar preferred.
• Works successfully in a collaborative team environment.
• Self-motivating and capable of working to achieve ESG program objectives.
• Excellent English written and verbal communications skills.
