Locus robotics seeks a talented Software Engineering Intern to join our Robotics Software team this summer! This intern will focus on working with our senior developers around developing perception, localization, and mapping algorithms for Locus’ multi-robot navigation system. If you enjoy working on unique solutions for a large distributed robotic system, this position is for you!

This role can be remote, or onsite or hybrid at our Wilmington, MA office. We are also open to hiring anywhere remotely in the US.

• Experience with techniques and applications in perception, computer vision, Machine Learning mapping, sensor fusion, or other related areas.
• 1+ years of experience working with ROS and C++.
• Experience debugging and profiling applications/algorithms.
• Proficiency with working in a Linux development environment.
• Familiarity with ground-based mobile robots is a plus.
