Salary Range:
$120-$140k 

Location: 

• Hybrid with the opportunity to work remotely a few days/week. 
• The primary office is in South Tampa with an office in St. Petersburg.
• Travel to various client locations within the Tampa Bay area as needed as well. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Elevate Business Visions with the C-Level: Provide high-level consultation to C-level stakeholders. You're not just an advisor; you're the foundation for success, guiding businesses to thrive. 
• Team Leadership: Mentor, supervise, and cultivate a team of senior and staff accountants. 
• Drive Innovation Through Streamlined Systems: Drive process improvements and implement cutting-edge systems to streamline tasks. Your innovation will be a key factor in shaping the team's efficiency and productivity. 
• Perform Accounting Functions: Craft financial statements, financial planning + analysis, cash flow forecasting, month end close, and budgeting. 
• Simplify Accounting Complexity: Research technical issues and translate them into a more digestible manner. 
• Craft Seamless Client Connections & Deliver Quality Results: Ensure client expectations are met, become a client's trusted advisor, and turn client relationships into long-term partnerships.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is required
• CPA highly preferred
• Experience in audit, assurance or accounting consulting OR experience in leadership accounting or financial role for small to midsize company
• Management/team leadership experience
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge and experience (month/year-end close, general ledger, financial systems, financial reporting, consolidations, reconciliations, cash flow modeling, etc.)
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills (pivots, lookups, complex formulas, and macro capability)
• Self-starter – candidate is expected to serve as the main point of contact with clients and maintain a solid client relationship without direct supervision
• Highly organized - candidate is expected to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously and function effectively in a fast-paced environment
