Job Description

You’re based in Montreal, Canada, and you want to work with cutting-edge technologies and be part of a highly motivated team? Join us! 

We are looking for a creative, multi-disciplinary Sales Intern to grow as we do, and support our team as we bring Live Shopping to the masses.

Your role involves performing tasks with a focus to grow our company’s global awareness and improve our creative tactics. You will, also, facilitate daily administrative functions like keeping track of sales activities, sending customers quotes and assisting in demo presentations.

The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of sales and the sales cycle in a customer service industry. She/He will be able to work well under guidance, and under ideal conditions, be a trusted and self-sufficient member of our sales team.

Top candidates will be fantastic at being organized, detail-oriented, and have a sense of curiosity. This person will also have the ability to observe sales processes and not be afraid to suggest improvements.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Sales Managers or assigned staff member and completing all allocated tasks
  • Learning and improving the sales CRM system
  • Liaising with clients, vendors, and suppliers on behalf of the company's managers to create proposal and quotes
  • Updating documents and sales records
  • Conducting research or gathering information through online research or by speaking to clients and staff
  • Observing and carrying out sales processes
  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions
  • Attending and participating in meetings, workshops and events

 

Qualifications

Your qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred (or in progress)
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in sales or customer service (relevant internships count!)  
  • Interest in taking complicated technology and making it accessible to the masses in fun, relatable ways
  • Strong organizational skills, time management and detail-oriented
  • A proven team player, with the ability to empathize with employees and remain flexible in achieving the appropriate outcome
  • Ability to always add value and a desire to make a real difference
  • Organized, able to meet deadlines, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a real ability to quickly prioritize a number of projects
  • Self-aware, able to challenge others when appropriate, works well with others and leads by example
  • A strong desire to learn and develop skills in sales and customer service  
  • Digital CRM experience will be an asset but not required

Additional Information

Due to covid-19, we’re looking for people already based in Canada, regardless of your nationality or immigration status (ie. Closed work permit, open work permit, permanent residency).
