You're based in the Montreal area, and you want to work with cutting-edge technologies, and be part of a highly motivated and committed team? Join our dynamic team as UI/UX Product Designer, to design UI/UX that rocks. 

You’ll be working with our amazing Product team, in tandem with our Sales/Marketing/Engineering teams, on our cloud SaaS platform and desktop/mobile webapps, in order to:

• Develop new experience of content consumption (live video, interaction, ecommerce),
• Be a key partner to product management in helping to come up with approaches that work – you’re not here to just “gather” requirements·    
• Proactively apply research techniques that are appropriate to the problem being addressed: concept, prototype, validate, fine-tune and present design solutions
• Create sketches, flows, wireframes and other design artifacts
• Help identify and leverage metrics to drive product management and measure success

More than competencies, we're looking for a team player with the right personnality, and a background where you were able to demonstrate the following competencies:

• 5+ years of experience as a UX or interaction designer with demonstrable proficiency owning the design process from early-stage ideation through high fidelity design to product ship
• Passion for simple, intuitive, and beautiful user-centered designs
• An ability to have relentlessly high standards for design excellence within a lean, ship fast environment
• Fluency in UX, visual and interactive design best practices along with a strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
• Obsessive attention to detail
• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum, Git, Jira, CI/CD)
• Creative problem solver, who is comfortable making decisions and/or collaborating with team members. Not afraid to ask questions, shout ideas or raise concerns
• Experience in an E-commerce environment is definitely an asset

 It’s also a plus if you are/have:

• Familiarity with web & video environment,
• Passion for the media, entertainment & e-commerce ecosystems.

Due to covid-19, we’re looking for people already based in Canada, regardless of your nationality or immigration status (ie. Closed work permit, open work permit, permanent residency). If you're based in Canada but not currently living in Montreal, we're looking also for candidates interested in relocating to the Montreal region in the short/mid-term (pending developments regarding COVID-19, once travel is permitted).
