Job Description

Responsible for managing an assigned account base, ensuring that account renewal and revenue rate targets are hit and exceeded. Provides continual client training, ensuring that clients are using our product with the efficiency and frequency to meet their business needs. 

A successful account manager shows proficiency in the following:

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Meet and exceed account renewal and revenue targets 
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within accounts 
  • Achieves a minimum of 50 touch points daily (email/phone)
  • Responds to incoming client calls and issues in a timely matter 
  • Trains clients on using our product and builds value proposition 
  • Ability to conduct webinars through screen share software
  • Contacts low-usage clients on a continual basis to increase usage 
  • Ensures all user licenses are assigned and being utilized 
  • Assists in training new account management team members
  • Works collaboratively with associated team members 
  • Provides day to day support for accounts – identifying issues, swapping out users, strategic planning with accounts 
  • Participates in idea generation for client retention programs
     

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in account management and/or consultative selling
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
  • Strong knowledge of a CRM system, Salesforce ideal 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of organization as well as excellent oral/written communications skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced office
