As the UX Lead / Head of Design and UX, you will drive the design vision and user experience strategy across our diverse projects. This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet and exceed our global users' usability and design expectations. You will work closely with various teams to integrate user-centered design principles and create intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences.

• Proven leadership in managing and inspiring design teams.
• Exceptional UI/UX design skills, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions.
• Expertise in design tools and technology, with a keen understanding of how design impacts development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of user experience, user research, and design best practices.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead the UX/UI design team, fostering innovation and setting high standards for design excellence.
• Collaborate with product teams to incorporate user-centered design processes and create compelling user experiences.
• Guide the design of new products and features, ensuring they align with business goals and user needs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and continuously improve user experience.
• Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating them into our design practice.
• Act as a key stakeholder in strategic discussions, representing the user's voice and the design's importance.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with significant experience in a leadership role.
• A compelling portfolio that showcases a user-centric design approach.
• Experience working in a technology-focused organization, preferably in open-source communities.
