Job Description

The Partner Marketing Manager, Training & Certification has a responsibility for supporting the revenue goals associated with affiliates and partners. This includes driving B2C revenue, generating B2B leads, expanding our reach and growing our brand awareness. This role will primarily manage and optimize our affiliate programs with Share-a-Sale and Commission Junction and manage new partnerships with O’Reilly, LinkedIn Learning, edX and others as well as identifying new opportunities. 

Responsibilities include:

Affiliate Partner Management:

  • Leverage our long-term relationship with Share-a-Sale (SaS) and take our engagement with SaS and our affiliates to the next level
  • Learn about our new affiliate relationship with Commission Junction (CJ) and implement the best practices offered by CJ and our relationship with SaS
  • Engage directly with affiliates to build relationships with our top-performing contacts and develop a strategy to identify, grow and diversify new and high-potential affiliates 
  • Create test offers (promotions, incentives, bonuses) to determine the best approach in attracting, building and retaining new affiliates

Partner Management:

  • Work with several existing partners to set goals for 2023 and grow each partnership through various marketing initiatives. 
  • Identify new global partners and develop a plan and timeline that will help us quickly determine the opportunity, onboard a new partner, and track and grow the partnership
  • Develop or tailor existing marketing assets that will support our partners
  • Draft, distribute and review monthly and quarterly reports

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Partner, channel and/or affiliate marketing management experience, preferably in a non-profit, tech or learning environment
  • Strong relationship building and management skills
  • Good writing and reporting experience
  • Excellent skills in multitasking, problem-solving and thinking critically
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Ability to balance both planning and execution
  • Proven team player experience
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience
