Job Description

The Linux Foundation has evolved a proven methodology to transform projects into category leaders. LFX operationalizes this approach, providing a suite of tools built to facilitate every aspect of open source development. Critical projects must have their finger on the pulse of their entire developer ecosystem, with tools tailored to key stakeholders driving project development, including maintainers, contributors, community managers, marketers, and more. In your role as a software engineer, you will be a part of the Linux Foundation engineering team working on LFX (lfx.dev).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • B.S./ M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
  • Experienced and enjoys working in fast-paced and adaptable (startup-like) environments
  • Excellent troubleshooter and problem solver
  • Must have a strong QA background, facilitate and manage QA activities and have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent leadership / relationship building skills.
  • Ability to present in-front of executives, be confident, be a driver and take ownership.
  • They must understand complex data structure and application integrations.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization
  • Lead experience with writing and executing SQL queries and ETL
  • Experience with automation of test cases using TestProject/Testcafe/Selenium/Cypress; other automation experience a plus
  • Experience with API automation using TestProject/Newman/Postman/Restassured
  • Ability to document test plans and strategies, test cases, and manage defects and lead teams through roadblocks
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies
  • Experience with the Agile/Scrum methodologies
