Job Description

We’re looking for a Build and Release Engineer to join the RISC-V technical team. In this role, you will participate as a key contributor to the RISC-V Formal Verification efforts. You will help create and maintain a process for generating the RISC-V formal model, based in the Sail ISA specification language. You will ensure compliance with RISC-V policies and you will provide professional, timely, and accurate communication to stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for the CI/CD infrastructure and pipelines for the RISC-V Golden Model as well as documentation, tutorials, and end-user guides. This includes building tools and libraries and integrating multiple pipelines and technologies to enable engineering teams to compile the RISC-V Golden Model quickly and reliably.

In this role you will be a strategic partner to the RISC-V formal verification team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with building highly complex C applications or the Linux kernel
  • Ability to write, integrate, and maintain pipelines for CI/CD
  • Ability to resolve complex software configuration issues
  • Ability to design and implement modular and easily extensible solutions
  • Strong understanding of software engineering methodologies
  • Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Open source software development experience
  • Experience with hardware specifications or standards
