As a core business unit of LF, the Event Team (composed of 40+ event management, sales and marketing professionals) manages over 150 global events and conferences each year, ranging from 50 to 20k attendees. We host in-person, virtual and hybrid events. 

Job Description

We’re looking for a results-driven, creative and detail oriented Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to join the LF Events Team to run social media, email marketing and digital campaigns that drive global attendance to our events, and support our digital events and webinars.

What You Will Work On

  • Creating, scheduling and posting social media content across multiple platforms for multiple event campaigns across the year

  • Establishing and overseeing social media calendar

  • Requesting and organizing all marketing creative assets

  • Assisting with writing and editing content email marketing campaigns

  • Proofreading and editing content for email marketing campaigns, social media and webinars

  • Building emails in HubSpot and routing for edits and approvals

  • Helping the event marketing team with planning and implementing marketing and sales campaigns across a variety of marketing channels

  • Maintaining marketing and project timelines to track all activities and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met

  • Researching and reaching out to 3rd party partner organizations to build media partnerships - communicating partnership action items and implementing deliverables

  • Supporting the LF Live Webinar Program through project management and live moderation of webinars

Qualifications

  • Robust knowledge of HubSpot, prior experience with Salesforce and Google Workspace is a plus

  • 3+ years of social media and/or digital marketing experience in the technology sector

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field

  • Hands-on experience with creative social media campaigns

  • Highly organized campaign/timeline management, with strong attention to detail

  • Excellent proofreading skills

  • Self-starter, who can operate both independently and within a dynamic team environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication (both written & verbal) skills

  • Able to handle shifting priorities and deadlines

  • Ability and desire to learn new digital marketing tools

  • Excellent team and customer service orientation

  • Background in copywriting/editing a plus

This position requires some overnight and weekend travel to events both domestically and internationally. As our in-person events require COVID-19 vaccinations for participation, the position requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination. This position is remote, and is open to applicants who can work North America time zone standard business hours.
