Job Description

This role will be based in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, or Sunnyvale.

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

At LinkedIn, we're redefining what work looks like in the new era of AI. From how professionals grow their skills to how they find opportunity, connect, and create, LinkedIn sits at the center of the biggest shift the world of work has seen in decades.

Our Go-To-Market Enablement (GTME) Center of Excellence is building a dedicated function of product-led builders who move enablement beyond content to interactive apps and autonomous agents that operate in the flow of work. These builders own AI-powered workflows and internal applications end to end: partnering with learning experience experts to define the jobs-to-be-done, writing the spec, building the system, integrating it into the tools GTM teams already use, and iterating after launch.

As the Manager-  AI Builders, you will lead and grow this team. You will set the vision and roadmap for how AI building scales across the COE, coach a team of builders to do the best work of their careers, and own a portfolio of high-impact problems from insight to launch. You are an agile multiplier with deep problem-space ownership: part people leader, part product strategist, and technical enough to guide architecture, unblock integrations, and raise the bar on everything the team ships.

This is more than a job. It's your chance to help shape the future of work, and to build the team that gets us there.

What Success Looks Like:

  • GTM Enablement shifts from content delivery to interactive apps and autonomous agents that operate in the flow of work, at scale.
  • Your team ships AI-powered workflows and applications that surface the right insight and action at the right moment, inside the tools GTM teams already use — with measurable enablement ROI.
  • Builders on your team grow their craft and careers, and the function becomes a magnet for top building talent.
  • AI solutions move from experimentation to trusted, scaled, enterprise capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of AI and product builders — hiring, developing, and retaining talent, and creating the conditions for them to own problems end to end.
  • Own a portfolio of user problems from insight to launch, holding the team to a discovery-first standard: define the jobs-to-be-done and real user friction with learning experience partners before any build begins.
  • Own the modular product roadmap across the portfolio. Translate complex, ambiguous business requirements into clearly sequenced work, ruthlessly prioritizing the features that drive measurable enablement ROI — and protecting the team from low-value work.
  • Set the vision, goals, and OKRs for the team, and use data, adoption, and feedback to iterate quickly.
  • Raise the technical bar. Guide architecture, prototyping, and agentic orchestration, and steer the systems integration that building in the flow of work requires — connecting APIs and stitching together LinkedIn's infrastructure and the third-party stack (e.g., Gong, Cornerstone On Demand).
  • Think like a founder. Drive strategy, identify partnership opportunities, and deepen the team's partnership with the lines of business it serves.
  • Establish the standards, reusable patterns, and lifecycle practices your team's work runs on, consolidating fragmented one-off solutions into durable, reusable systems.
  • Lead across disciplines, partnering with product, engineering, Learning Design, operations, and COE stakeholders to ship experiences that create real value for GTM teams and members.
  • Stretch goal: Mentor builders across product, Ops, other GTME teams such as Learning Design, Insights and growing full-stack craft and careers on your team.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years experience building and shipping products, features, or internal tools used by real users, with a track record of measurable impact.
  • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience, directly leading builders or product, design, or engineering talent.
  • Direct systems integration experience, connecting APIs and building in the flow of work across enterprise infrastructure and third-party tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A portfolio or body of work showcasing shipped software projects and demonstrating design judgment and craft.  Demonstrated ability to lead and work across disciplines such as product, learning design, or engineering.
  • Strong product intuition and human-centered design sensibility, with a record of measurable impact for both your own work and the work you have led.
  • A track record of ruthless prioritization and modular roadmapping that ties feature decisions to measurable ROI.
  • Working knowledge of programming and AI, enough to guide architecture and raise the bar in technical and design reviews.
  • Strong proficiency with AI-native development tools, (e.g. Claude Code) and vibe coding tools (e.g.  Replit, Figma Make, etc).
  • Familiarity with front-end tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or design systems.
  • Experience building or leading teams that ship AI agents, copilots, or GenAI workflows.
  • Experience operating in a matrixed, global enterprise environment, influencing across Product, Data, and Engineering without direct authority.
  • A track record of building and developing high-performing teams through hiring, coaching, and career growth.

Suggested Skills:

  • AI tools
  • People Leadership
  • Communication
  • Strategic Thinking
