Job Description
We are looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial Engineering Manager to join the Bangalore engineering team. In this role, you will be part of LinkedIn's Productivity Engineering team responsible for leading a team of software engineers to reimagine, transform and modernize the IT experience at Linkedin by developing new products and services focused on creating agentic experience and productivity of Linkedin Employees. You will also partner with other teams across the company to ensure a consistently awesome experience across platforms and products.
This role will be based in Bangalore, India.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
Responsibilities
Manage the performance and career development of a team of software engineers, and own significant parts of LinkedIn products focussed on employee productivity and experience that require design, architecture, and coding.
Participate with senior management and stakeholders in developing a long-term technology roadmap and cost-to-serve model for IT at Linkedin
Be a role model and professional coach for engineers with a strong bias for action and focus on craftsmanship.
Manage our Enterprise implementation of ServiceNow for IT and HRSD workflows
Lead a team of talented engineers in building and managing both internally developed applications as well as enterprise implementations of 3rd-Party SaaS applications
Work with peers across teams to support and leverage a shared technical stack.
Manage teams to scale distributed applications, make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, review code, and deliver with speediness and quality.
Produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of relevant engineering work experience and 2+ years of hands-on technical management experience
5+ years software design, coding in one of the following languages: Java, Python
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of management experience in building small to medium-sized teams, demonstrating growth and a track record of successful deliveries.
3+ years of experience in building and working with production grade systems.
3+ years managing 3rd Party SaaS applications and integrations
2+ years experience managing ServiceNow implementations
Shipped several large-scale projects with dependencies across multiple teams.
Built and delivered on successful cross-functional partnerships across multiple teams.
Been actively involved in creation and execution of technical strategy and roadmap.
Actively coached, mentored and grew team members in their careers.
Track record in partnering with recruiting to hire and build incredible engineering teams.
