Job Description
This role is part of LinkedIn’s broader effort to build and scale an in-house owned media agency, including the creation of tools that will significantly increase production speed and operational efficiency. As such, the position is structured as a 12-month contractor role. This role will be based in Mexico.

The Owned In-House Agency Team supports the LinkedIn Owned Media team, which leads channel strategy, prioritization, and performance across Email and LinkedIn Ads. This team partners closely with Owned Media to bring campaigns to life at scale, ensuring high-quality execution and operational excellence across a complex portfolio. This includes driving execution of campaign builds, QA, and reporting insights based on the Owned Media team's strategy and priorities. This team also plays a key role in enabling efficiency and consistency through the use and enablement of technology, automation, and tooling -- delivering impact through execution, scalability, and continuous improvement within a high-performing marketing organization.
We are seeking an Email Activation Specialist to join our team at Mexico. This role is responsible for producing and launching a high volume of email workflows with varying complexities using Adobe Campaign, our email service provider. In this position, you will be building, QA'ing, and launching email campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deploying high volume emails using different email marketing tools, specializing in HTML/CSS, SQL, and dynamic content scripts. They are responsible for email creation, workflow configuration, campaign segmentation, and QA.

Responsibilities
End-to-end execution of email campaigns including; building emails and workflows, creating audience segments, setting up tests, and scheduling email campaigns
Create and manage workflows to support campaign objectives
Set up and execute A/B test email campaigns
Perform QA via a QA checklist for email campaigns
Ensuring accurate rendering across different browsers, devices, and email clients
Launch and ensure ongoing deployment success of daily, weekly, or ad-hoc campaigns in Adobe Campaign
Troubleshoot rendering issues or performance issues of email campaigns
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and communicate execution requirements, timing, and SLAs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of applicable experience
- 2+ years of experience deploying high volume emails in an email marketing platform
- Business fluency in English, with ability to adapt messaging for varied audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree
- Proficient in responsive email design and front-end development.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and SQL
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with ability to adapt messaging for varied audiences
- Familiarity with common email marketing tools - Adobe Campaign preferred, Stensul or Litmus
