Within LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS), Ads Billing & Payments is a foundational part of the advertiser experience. When billing is seamless, transparent, and trustworthy, advertisers activate faster, scale confidently, and stay longer. When it fails, it is one of the top drivers of churn, paused spend, and support friction.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead Ads Billing & Payments from our Bangalore office.

This is a high-impact, platform-level role at the intersection of:

  • Monetization & Revenue Growth

  • SMB Activation & Retention

  • Global Payments & Compliance

  • AI-driven, agentic advertiser workflows

You will define and drive the strategy for how advertisers, from first-time SMBs to global enterprises,  set up accounts, manage payment methods, receive invoices, resolve billing issues, and interact with LinkedIn’s financial systems.

This role is critical to:

  • Accelerating advertiser activation

  • Reducing payment friction and failures

  • Increasing retention and lifetime value

  • Enabling new commercial models and AI-native ad products

You will operate across LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS), LinkedIn Billing Platform (LBP), Finance, Risk, and Trust — balancing user experience, technical complexity, and regulatory rigor.

Responsibilities

  • Set Strategy & Vision

    • Define and drive a multi-year strategy for Ads Billing & Payments aligned to LMS growth goals.

    • Reimagine billing experiences for AI- and agent-powered advertising workflows.

    • Identify and prioritize the biggest friction points impacting activation, spend, and retention.

  • Build Scalable Platforms

    • Lead product planning across billing surfaces, invoicing systems, payment methods, APIs, and financial account management.

    • Drive end-to-end product development from concept through launch and iteration.

    • Partner with engineering on system architecture and API design to ensure scalability and global readiness.

  • Drive Business Impact

    • Define clear product and business metrics (activation rate, payment success rate, revenue recovery, retention, etc.).

    • Use data and experimentation to reduce payment friction and unlock revenue growth.

    • Evaluate competitive landscape and global payments trends to inform roadmap decisions.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution

    • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Finance, Sales, Risk, Legal, Trust, Business Operations, and Product Marketing.

    • Communicate product vision, tradeoffs, and outcomes clearly to executive stakeholders.

    • Balance regulatory requirements, fraud mitigation, and advertiser experience.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • BS degree in a technology-related field

  • 10+ years of experience in a product management or equivalent role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in payments, billing platforms, fintech, SaaS monetization, or advertising systems

  • Strong understanding of global payments ecosystems (cards, invoicing, subscriptions, compliance)

  • Experience building platform products or API-first systems

  • Familiarity with AI-driven workflows or agent-based systems

  • Strong analytical and experimentation mindset

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through complexity

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
