LinkedIn is looking for a Regional IT Manager (for EMEA/LATAM), within LinkedIn’s Productivity Engineering Operations (PE Ops) organization. The Productivity Engineering Operations organization spans technology across LinkedIn's infrastructure, security, and business Products and Applications. We work to improve and transform the employee technical support experience by delivering support services that are effortless, self-service-first, and near-real-time. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manager with strong technical depth, people leadership skills, and experience operating in a distributed, multinational tech environment. This candidate should also be fluent with building scalable support solutions and driving transformation in enterprise IT.

About the Role

The Regional IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all IT operations across a defined geographical region. This role ensures systems, infrastructure, and support services operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with global organizational objectives. You will partner closely with cross‑functional leaders, local IT teams, and global technology stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost‑effective IT services.

Key Responsibilities

Regional IT Operations & Service Delivery

  • Ensure smooth day‑to‑day IT operations across all sites in your region, including end‑user technical support, hardware/accessories, asset management & ITAD, printing, event support, etc.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain regional IT policies, procedures, and operational standards aligned with corporate IT governance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Security, Facilities, Workplace, Finance, and HR to plan expansions, moves, or remodels with minimal disruption.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of full-time regional IT professionals, including performance management and career development.
  • Provide technical guidance and escalation support to full-time and contracted employees to ensure timely resolution of complex issues.
  • Oversee staffing levels, team development, and resource planning for ongoing and emerging needs.

Technology Strategy & Project Execution

  • Develop and execute regional IT strategies that support global organizational goals, growth, and modernization initiatives.
  • Plan and lead IT projects/tasks, hardware & software upgrades, and technical enhancements across multiple locations.
  • Conduct technology evaluations, recommend new tools, and ensure adoption of industry best practices (e.g., ITIL, security frameworks).
  • Drive optimization and improve cost-to-serve through the use of AI and automation tools.

Risk Management, Compliance & Security

  • Establish and maintain disaster recovery plans, security protocols, and data protection standards across the region.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR), organizational controls (e.g., SOX), and internal audit guidelines.

Stakeholder Partnership & Communication

  • Act as the primary IT partner for EMEA & LATAM business stakeholders, ensuring technology aligns with business needs.
  • Provide regular reporting on service performance and health to senior leadership.
  • Own vendor/MSP performance, contracts, and renewals; negotiate SLAs and drive continuous improvement.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Prepare and manage the regional IT budget, optimizing spending and forecasting for future needs.
  • Evaluate cost‑effective technology solutions that support growth/scale and provide operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 7+ years management experience in IT operations or multi‑site technology leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience with IT service management and support ticketing tools (e.g. ServiceNow, ZenDesk, etc.). 
  • 2+ years minimum experience managing regional budgets


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years management experience in IT operations or multi‑site technology leadership.
  • Track record improving CSAT, MTTR, and SLA attainment while reducing support costs.
  • Exposure to or direct experience creating & using AI solutions to augment human support processes.
  • Experience managing vendor (managed service provider) ecosystems.
  • Ability to operate strategically while maintaining a hands‑on approach.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern identity solutions.
  • Understanding of compliance and data protection regulations within EMEA & LATAM.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices, KPIs, SLAs, and service management frameworks.
  • Experience in a fast-paced technology organization.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL to track KPIs and drive data-informed decisions.
