This role is open to Mountain View or San Francisco.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our Global Revenue organization as a Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting, under the GTM & Product Technical Revenue pillar. This is a critical role that will assist in shaping the future of revenue accounting during a transformative period for our company. You will drive operational excellence, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure compliance with complex revenue standards.

This position is designed for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, simplifies complexity, and delivers clear, actionable insights. Agility and adaptability are essential—you will navigate evolving priorities, lead through change, and inspire confidence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and execute GTM and product revenue accounting strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Influence stakeholders and partner with Finance, Product, and other GTM teams to enable scalable revenue processes.
  • Collaborate with Deal Desk, Legal, and Sales teams to assess non-standard agreements.

Operational Excellence:

  • Manage technical revenue accounting for complex product offerings and GTM initiatives.
  • Support efforts to transform the GTM engagement model by standardizing processes, improving decision-making, and using technology for scalable efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant standards, while maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Lead the team through monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Formalize accounting positions through technical memos, ensuring clarity and consistency in application of standards.

People Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a top-performing team that values accountability, collaboration, and growth.
  • Strengthen capabilities to enable new business models and global growth.

Change Management:

  • Simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences and lead through ambiguity with confidence.
  • Communicate difficult messages effectively while maintaining morale and alignment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience. 
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in people management roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep technical expertise in ASC 606 and SaaS/product revenue recognition.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders in a global organization.
  • CPA is a plus. 
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complexity.
  • Demonstrated success in managing change and driving transformation.
  • Ability to remain agile and adaptive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to influence and unify stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Proficient at managing multiple, high impact workstreams simultaneously

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.    

The pay range for this role is $137,000 to $222,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
