As a Salesforce Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high‑quality solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will work across frontend and backend development using Salesforce technologies, collaborate with cross‑functional partners, translate business needs into technical designs, and contribute to modern, AI‑powered customer experiences. Strong expertise in Salesforce fundamentals, LWC, Agentforce, Salesforce Data Cloud, and Generative‑AI–driven solutions is essential for success in this role.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools.
• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces aligned with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS).
• Develop backend logic, integrations, and APIs using Apex, REST/SOAP services, and platform events.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, SFDC Architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices for security, performance, and scalability
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
• Support CI/CD pipelines and participate in release management
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to ongoing system improvements
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes
   

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 4 + Years of Software Development Experience 
• Experience developing software on the Salesforce platform
• Experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules)
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, APIs, testing)
• Experience in Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce
• Experience in Cursor / Agentforce Vibe Coding

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I / II, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce Specialist)
• 5+ Years of Software Development experience 
• Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, or AI-driven features
• Experience with integration platforms (Boomi, ETL tools)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
