Job Description
This role will be based in Mountain View, San Francisco, New York, Chicago or remote.

This role will have a direct impact on the Workplace Strategy at LinkedIn and help inform, iterate, and improve the programs and services we provide our employees.
LinkedIn’s Workplace Team is looking for a Director of Workplace Data Intelligence to operationalize the use of data throughout the Organization. This role will report to the Senior Director of Workplace Data and Analytics and will manage the team to develop the architecture, reporting, and tools required that inform our workplace strategy and real estate requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Workplace Data Intelligence functional areas requiring a blend of leadership and deep technical skills (functional areas includes Data Engineering (DE), Business Intelligence (BI), Gen AI (GAI) teams)
- Develop and maintain the data and analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives; act as liaison with stakeholders at all levels in the business
- Manage and prioritize incoming work requests, balancing them against current projects and resources
- Prepare and deliver regular updates to leadership on project status, risks, and outcomes
- Build relationships with various departments to understand their data needs and align analytics initiatives accordingly
- Oversee the following functional efforts:
- end-to-end delivery of data intelligence projects, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes
- data quality and accuracy of reports and dashboards
- Development, build, and operationalization of a data governance model
- Develop a deep understanding of LinkedIn’s privacy and information security policies and drive all Workplace data privacy requests through appropriate reviews and approvals
- Develop a deep understanding of the business requirements and create solutions to solve these. This includes functional business groups within LinkedIn (Engineering, Sales, Finance) and Workplace
- Provide Workplace with thought leadership on how we use data analytics to provide insights to both Workplace and Employees
- Manage software licenses and data integrations as needed to support Insights and related reports
- Travel required (approximately 10%)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years as a data architect with experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models
- 10+ years managing the development of end-to-end Enterprise Data Platforms and Business Intelligence solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with data analytics tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Excellent collaborator and ability to work with others of different backgrounds to find solutions to complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in verbal and written form
- Self-motivated and performance driven, willingness to take necessary actions to deliver on commitments
- Ability to drive technical strategy for large, global, complex organizations across multiple stakeholders and teams
- Master’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage data, building dashboards and reports for a Workplace Organization

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $161,000-$262,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
