LinkedIn is seeking a Senior Payroll Operations Analyst, EMEA & LATAM to manage accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll processing for our multi-state workforce. Reporting to the Manager, Payroll Operations EMEA & LATAM, this role is instrumental in ensuring payroll accuracy, maintaining compliance, and supporting process improvements and special projects. 

The Sr. Payroll Analyst will handle complex payroll scenarios, administer benefits and equity compensation, reconcile terminations, prepare payroll reports, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payroll queries. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and expertise in EMEA and LATAM regions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage monthly payroll processing across multiple EMEA & LATAM countries, partnering with outsourced payroll providers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant delivery. 

  • Review and validate complex payroll calculations, reconcile discrepancies, and oversee payroll approvals and signoffs. 

  • Ensure completion of statutory filings and reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly, annual), maintaining compliance with diverse country-specific tax, labor, and social security regulations. 

  • Coordinate net salary and statutory payments, collaborating with Cash Management and Payroll Accounting to ensure accurate funding and financial reconciliation. 

  • Partner with Employment Tax to assess compliance risks, support audits, and contribute to strategic initiatives impacting payroll operations. 

  • Document and standardize payroll processes across countries to drive consistency, efficiency, and compliance. 

  • Provide employee support by resolving payroll cases with accuracy and empathy, ensuring SLA adherence and a positive employee experience. 

  • Leverage payroll metrics and case management reporting to identify trends, improve processes, and recommend efficiency opportunities. 

  • Participate in global payroll initiatives, contributing regional insights to cross-functional projects aimed at transformation, standardization, and operational excellence. 

  • Support annual payroll and tax year-end activities across all countries in scope. 

Qualifications

Basic:  

  • 7+ years of senior-level Brazil payroll experience required.  

  • 5+ years in multi-country payroll operations, including regulatory compliance, statutory reporting, tax withholding, salary schemes, and social security requirements. 

  • 5+ years analytical and Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, IF statements) with the ability to manage large data sets. 

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. 

  • Basic Payroll Accounting experience is highly desirable but not required 

  • Mexico payroll experience is not required but highly desirable. Additional experience managing payroll across multiple EMEA countries is a plus; exposure to Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, or the UK is desirable but not required. 

  • Experience with multinational, expatriate payroll, and equity compensation is a plus. 

  • Proven ability to deliver accurate and timely payroll in high-volume, multi-jurisdiction environments. 

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating across cultures and functions. 

  • Demonstrated discretion, sound judgment, and ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations. 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 

  • Detail-oriented, reliable, pragmatic, and proactive

  • ADP Streamline tool & EY systems desired but not required
