Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from a LinkedIn office on select days and from home, as determined by the business needs of the team.

This role can be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale or New York.

LinkedIn Talent Solutions supports the talent strategies of some of the world’s most successful companies. Our solutions span Talent Acquisition (LinkedIn Recruiter, Jobs, and Employer Brand products) and employee development (LinkedIn Learning). 

The Scaled Growth & Customer Marketing team is responsible for driving acquisition of new business and usage, retention and account expansion in existing business. The team accomplishes these goals by running digital marketing campaigns via scaled channels, such as paid media, email, and web. The team creates and executes the marketing strategy for these campaigns, determining the right targeting, channels, frequency, messages, and budget allocation to accomplish the business goals. 

This is a highly strategic role, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, customer-centricity, creativity, and analytical rigor, as well as excellent communication, influencing and team leadership skills. The ideal candidate has a ‘general manager’ mindset - not just a digital marketing one - and is able to see where this team can have outsized business impact. They aren’t afraid to drive meaningful change and can make tough decisions quickly to adjust to our dynamic market. The candidate also ideally has experience from small business all the way to up to enterprise, working across all stages of the funnel.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop the growth & scaled customer marketing strategy that optimises resources, making clear trade-offs across multiple segments, geographies, and business priorities.

  • Lead, motivate and develop team of marketers, building a culture of agility, analytical rigor, creativity, and strong execution 

  • Partner with and influence cross-functional teams in integrated marketing, marketing operations, strategic finance, sales and product Lead with expertise and conviction on how best to capture greater growth and achieve our business objectives via scaled, digital marketing 

  • Drive efficiencies in our operational processes to maximize output from the team, including adoption of AI or other new tools where relevant in the creative production process 

  • Have a comprehensive pulse on dynamics & trends in digital marketing and creative production 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of relevant marketing experience 

  • 5+ years of experience hiring, managing and developing both individual contributors and senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into clear insights/implications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing 

  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships to influence and drive initiatives forward

  • Ability to break down an ambiguous or complex problem, structure a solution and offer recommendations

  • Proven track record of developing and executing high impact go-to-market strategies 

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in business discussions

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.    

The pay range for this role is $202,000 to $316,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
